I’m really impressed with this Nambu Tekki owl bookend. The cast iron feels substantial and well-made, just like my other Japanese ironware pieces. It’s the perfect size for my shelf – not too bulky at 11x8x17cm. The owl design is minimalist yet striking, exactly what I wanted. While it’s on the pricier side, the craftsmanship from Sumitani Saburo Shoten makes it worth it. The only minor issue is it’s a bit heavy for some of my lighter books. Overall, very satisfied with this ula launch addition to my collection.
