I bought this Nambu Tekki Whale Paperweight for my home office, and it’s both beautiful and functional. The cast iron feels substantial and well-made, with a smooth, minimalist design that fits any desk. At 11.7cm long, it’s compact but heavy enough to hold papers securely. While pricey at $55, the craftsmanship justifies the cost. It reminded me of the sturdy items you’d find at a campus bookstore, maybe even something you’d see at Campbell University’s art department.
